Foggy again. How many mornings in a row is that? Wait a sec, lemme check… appears this was the seventh day. Not that I mind too much, since the birds gotta make a living regardless. (As do we all, I suppose.)
Highlights of today were the alarm notes of a Wood Thrush, the song of a cardinal, the flushing of a woodcock—and the fact that there are fledgings everywhere these days.

Another foggy morning, the longest streak I can remember. But another surprisingly rich array of bird species. Plus, a few posers—including an alarmist Ovenbird.
I hear the sun might come out for a bit in the morning. We shall see!

Another foggy morn for dog and me—thick fog, moisture-laden air, a soggy water world. I don’t mind the fog, even have come to take it as a challenge to manage to take a decent photograph.
Today’s was a cooperative Hermit Thrush, whining its alarm call on a branch in the woods just in front of us.
I loved this foggy day.
