Yellow Warblers

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018
Yellow Warbler, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 2018.

Yellow Warbler.

Had a lovely hike this morning. Heard a Wood Thrush, watched a raven browse in the blueberries, spent a while following a drama involving yellow warblers. Three or four or five of these warblers were rushing about in a birch tree, engaging in a mad courtship and/or territorial battles.

A highlight of my walk with Jack—made  for a truly interesting morning.
