Early hike. Sunny day, cool and fine. Mosquito or two. Birds are skittish. Nesting underway. Wood thrush still singing. Flicker again. Tanager, too. Jack spotted a deer.
Worked a lot. Rode my bike. Mowed the lawn.
Great crested flycatcher at my place again this evening—singing late, as is the phoebe and the robin.
