Song Sparrow in early fall.

Chipping Sparrow, East Millcreek, Salt Lake CIty, Utah, 23 September 2019.
Chipping Sparrow.

Most birds on a hike today—sixteen. Many were clearly migrants.

It helped that this bright day had moderate winds from (I believe) the north. The resulting passage of many little birds kept me distracted and
entertained.
