Black-capped Chickadee.

I had a conversation with a little gang of Black-capped Chickadees this nippy morning at Beech Hill. I always have conversations with chickadees—any time I see ’em. We understand each other.

I also encountered—for the third time this fall—Snow Buntings. Well, today, just one bunting, although I did spook two or three a few days back. I hear we’re supposed to get a little dusting of snow soon. Maybe.

Well, surely we will… eventually.
