It’s been kind of a wet spring so far. All springs are wet, of course—at least to a certain extent, what with melting snow and seasonal weather patterns. But this one has had a lot of foggy, overcast days.
Never mind, though, because the birds keep showing up—so far, anyway. No first-of-year species today, but a nice variety, despite adverse winds, etc.
My favorite bird of the day? A female House Sparrow hanging out at Good Tern Co-op in Rockland.
