Big rain overnight. Little rain this morning. Overcast until mid- to late-afternoon, when a hint of sun poked through. I worked like a sumbitch migrating websites between servers. Discombobulated me somewhat. Then I took two dogs to Beech Hill for a quick hike up the open trail.
Not many birds made themselves visible, but one of the phoebes nesting at Beech Nut appeared with a cricket in its beak.
Somehow, that seemed to sum up the day.
