Storm’s a-coming tonight into tomorrow—or so the meteorologists say. Will begin as rain and become snow. Temps will dip into the area of freezing.
But this last day of winter dog and I had a lovely hike, our usual route, with plenty of birds and herds of deer and a pair of Rock Squirrels a-courtin’ in the old Monarch Quarry. Still some mud on the shady switchbacks, but the rest of the trails had dried—temporarily.
Looking forward to seeing the first true bird or spring.
