Mayday!

Thursday, May 1st, 2014
Birch, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 01 May 2014.

Birch.

Still cold and dreary and—today—foggy and wet. Rain all night last night, more to come. Jack and I didn’t take an early hike for a change, but still a few birds were out. (Of course. I mean, it’s spring, after all.)

Things will pick up soon.
