Robin

Thursday, February 11th, 2021
American Robin, East Millcreek, Salt Lake City, Utah,11 February 2021.
American Robin.

Rain was forecast, but no rain fell. A little patch of sleet did fall as dog and I hiked up the switchback, and a breeze blew. The temperature stayed unseasonably high. Otherwise, the landscape didn’t yield much in the way of surprises.

Birds of the usual species, not particularly high numbers. Only a scrub-jay posed for photos. A lovely hike, though, under big, expansive overcast skies.

(Back home later, a robin posed. Out my study window. Having a snack.)
