Cool and mostly gray this morning, with rain on the way. Many more birds around than there were in spring—two, three times as many. As with all the bluebirds fluttering around. I must’ve seen three or four family’s worth, males, females, fledglings. Fledgling bluebirds are kind of cute, I gotta say.
On the way to the hill I spied a couple of turkey families—adults and a scattering of tiny poults.
