Thawy

Thursday, January 13th, 2022
Black-billed Magpie, East Millcreek, Salt Lake City, Utah, 13 January 2022.
Black-billed Magpie.

This morning’s hike with dog was a quick, quiet one. Similar to the past couple mornings but a tad bit warmer and thawier. Not as much excitement as yesterday, but a couple-three birds did pose for pics.

Smoggy down in the city, a lot less snow on the deer trails, fewer deer. Dry conditions expected to continue.

Who knows what tomorrow might bring?

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
