A truly lovely morning for a hike with dog. Mostly clear, comfortable temperature, the aroma of fall. Saw some birds (photographed a few) and had a couple nice conversations with fellow hikers.
One of the birds that obliged me with a photo op was a Woodhouse’s Scrub-jay. (It’d been a while.) Plus, I spied the solitaire again. And got a glimpse of a cottontail.
I daresay I’d relive it, if I could.
