On my Beech Hill hike with dog today—a lovely, sunny, breezy, chilly day—I saw a bunch of nervous birds, including two uncommon visitors to the hill: a Swainson’s Thrush and a Warbling Vireo, both south-bound, I feel sure.
I only got a photo of the thrush, though.
