
Another lovely morning much like yesterday’s. Dog and I got to the trailhead about the same time—chilly again, fair again, warmed by the sun topping the ridge.
The usual suspects today (among them a big flock of robins), but an unusual occurrence: we got mobbed. Not too terribly mobbed, but I didn’t see a hawk or owl or coyote or any other threat, and the chickadees and juncos were clearly very, very angry.
Only bothered them for a photo or two, though, and then we continued on our way.
