When we headed out, Jack and I, some very light snow as falling. As we started up the trail, the snow got a little heavier. Though never truly heavy snow, when began our return an hour or so later, our ascending tracks were gone.
Few birds (and fewer photo ops), but I did spy a few despite the weather. Most notably, a hungry scrub jay.
We’re in for a cold stretch, so they say. Will bundle up tomorrow.
