Fun little hike with Jack this morning. As has been the case for most of the week, the first little sunny patch of trees has revealed a loose collection of various small bird species. In this case four species of warbler, chickadees, titmice, vireos, etc. It always seems such a surprise, with random appearances by random birds in random plumage. Never predictable, never a dull moment.
As fall is my favorite season, I believe fall migration is my favorite migration.
