Blue-headed Vireo, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 18 June 2017.

Blue-headed Vireo.

This foggy morning, on my hike with dog, I came upon a pair of Blue-headed Vireos flitting silently in the trees. I hardly ever see this species any other time than early spring. It was a nice surprise.
