Dooyard Cardinal

Thursday, May 10th, 2018
Northern Cardinal, Rockport, Maine, 10 May 2018.

Northern Cardinal.

The morning began sunny, but some fog rolled in, and my hike with dog had a cool feel to it. And what with a couple dozen birds on my list, let me say I mean “cool” both literally and figuratively.

But the photo of the day came from my dooryard cardinal. (Hey, bud!)
