Cloudless day, dry and mild. Dog and I hiked Beech Hill earlier than we have been lately, and birds were about—but mostly in hiding. All except for the Turkey Vulture that floated overhead.
Dragonflies still out. And butterflies. Grasshoppers. Crickets. Bees.
The equinox is approaching, I can tell by the earlier arrival of evening. Tonight is sweet and cool.
