Sun and clouds this morning. Warmer than yesterday. A fickle breeze. Still a lot of green to go with the red and orange and gold.
Still a mess of yellow-rumps. Also flocks of sparrows (white-throats and swamps). The usual suspects otherwise, along with a random bluebird and a late-to-leave Eastern Towhee. Oh, and at least a hundred crows.
In one little dramatic episode, a Cooper’s Hawk tried to make it past the crows. This resulted in a little chase. The hawk was not impressed—no deterred.
Dramatic sky today also.
