More Fledglings

Saturday, July 14th, 2018
Common Yellowthroat (fledgling), Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 14 July 2018.

Common Yellowthroat (fledgling).

Lots of young birds fluttering around in the undergrowth. Towhees, Song Sparrows, Alder Flycatchers, Chestnut-sided Warblers, Gray Catbirds, and more. The only one I got a good look at this morning was a young Common Yellowthroat.

I love fledglings.

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
