Northern Harrier.
Thirties (F) today, relatively calm, slippery underfoot. An interesting array of birds—both at home and at Beech Hill.

Winterberry.
On the hill in mid-afternoon, the highlight was a harrier swooping low above the fields. At home in late-afternoon, the croak of one of the resident ravens, headed toward the summit of Mount Battie. But considering the continued mild winter, you can find little birds most everywhere, if you look hard enough.
After this week’s sunny stretch, some clouds moving in tomorrow—or so I hear.
