Yellow-rumped warbler, Beech Hill Preserve.

Did not have long to hike Beech Hill today after a good, busy day with my daughter. We headed up into the woods, we walked swiftly, we headed back down. Sarah led the way—and actually stopped when she noticed a little collection of birds moving through the trees. Yellow-rumps, many of them, but she also saw a black-and-white warbler (which I did not see).

Fast, brief, but a really nice hike with my girl today.
