The Wind, the Wind

Friday, March 2nd, 2018
Birch, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 02 March 2018.

Birch.

The wind today was wild. Another bomb cyclone hit—or drew near—and the pressure dipped, and the wind howled. Didn’t rain much, though, and we didn’t lose our power like hundreds of thousands of people did to the south of us. Not surprisingly, I got no bird photos. But there were birds.

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
