Side Trip

Saturday, March 3rd, 2018
Mallard pair, Rockland Breakwater, Rockland, Maine, 03 March 2018.

Mallard pair.

More big wind today, this time with a frantic snow squall or two interspersed with patches of blue sky. On the hill, where trees were swaying, I saw one lone crow. In afternoon, I headed for the breakwater to watch the spray.

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
