Worshiping Jupiter

View from the roof.

A good day, a diverse day, with desk work and errands and a big batch of sofrito at the end of it. After a quick swing by the dump, Jack and I met Jackie and Amy at Beech Hill, because Jackie and I were going to try to fix a flapping section of mesh atop the Beech Nut chimney. Jack hung out with Amy while we climbed atop the roof.

Sky.

I’d never been up there. It was pretty damn cool. We didn’t really know what we were dealing with, though, re: the mesh. That duct tape isn’t gonna hold for long.

Still, it felt nice to have an actual mission up there.

Chickadees, crows, the voice of a Pileated Woodpecker. Lovely sun and vernal temperatures.

Tonight I’ve been worshiping Jupiter.
