We hurried up Beech Hill this afternoon, dog and I, as thunder rumbled beyond the Camden Hills. The heat and humidity had risen, and a storm was on its way. On the hill we ran into some nice visitors from Rhode Island who happened to be birders. Didn’t see a ton of birds, but I did get a photo of a blueberry thief.
The storm missed Rockland entirely, turned out.
