Scrub-jay of the city, East Millcreek, Salt Lake City, Utah, 20 March 2022.
Scrub-jay of the city.

It wasn’t exactly a spring storm, but the precipitation forecast for today (a little rain, a little snow) did arrive—albeit a bit later than expected. Dog and I got through about half our hike before a light shower arrived.

Quite a few birds, though few photo possibilities. Most dependable posers lately have been scrub-jays. Today was no exception.

A quick hike, a good hike. Snow showers in afterward. Clearing at evening.

Tomorrow the first sunny day of spring.
