Chilly this morning, about 27° (F), and gray of sky, but with only a light wind. Decided not to wear my winter coat (just my warm zip-up sweatshirt), and it turned out to be the right decision.
Didn’t know what to expect (as usual), but figured dog and I would encounter few bird species—what with the overcast—and I was right about that. In all, only six species today, and few of each. But the morning sky over the water was lovely, and we met (and I chatted with) a few trail friends, and all in all it was a lovely morning.
Tomorrow’s supposed to come with a little rain and wind. We shall see how that goes.
