A little bit of snow this morning. Jack and I were the only dog and human on the trails again. We did encounter the usual birds—other than two oddities: 1) didn’t see one Spotted Towhee; 2) an adult Bald Eagle flew by.
The eagle passed overhead early in our hike, with snow spitting around it, not far away. It didn’t bother to give us so much as a glance.
We also spotted a few mule deer. Good times.
