
By late morning, when dog and I took off for our hike, the day had grown rather mild—upper 30s (F), at least. A lot nippier in the shade, but even warmer out of it. Hazy sun, a bit of an inversion, couple napping deer, quite a few birds (although few posed for photos).
Jack and I a nice visit with a friend and his dog.
Got some exercise.
