A little frosty this morning, with temps in the lower 30s (F). Mostly cloudless. Here at a high elevation, the sun warms you quicker than at sea-level, seems to me.
Fewer birds on the mountainside than on recent days, but a nice variety regardless. Got a few pics, got some exercise. Jack enjoyed sniffing both the air an the trailside vegetation.
In the neighborhood, a Song Sparrow persists on the fringes of my yard. This little bird interests me a lot—not least because of his western accent.
The chickadees have an accent out here also.
