Monarch caterpillar, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 26 July 2018.

Monarch caterpillar.

Rain this morning. Had a good shower just before starting up Beech Hill, where mostly Jack and I encountered wind and fog. Few birds, and only one (not good) bird photo. But I was excited to find, on a milkweed leaf, a Monarch caterpillar.
