Many Robins

Sunday, March 25th, 2018
American robin, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 25 March 2018.

American robin.

Flocks of migrating robins descended this sunny, breezy day—scores of them in the lee of the eastern slopes of Beech Hill. Dark-colored Canadian robins, I’m pretty sure. Kind of skittish, too.

Also watched a raven fly over, croaking and playing in the air.

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
