Sun above and snow below this morning; clouds this afternoon and evening, along with a little wet and melting snow. Birds all over the place this morning—including a first-of-year Hermit Thrush that popped up out of nowhere on Jack’s and my return to the truck.
Back home, I listened to a female Northern Cardinal sing a very sweet song. (Lady cardinals sing, too.)
