This morning on our arrival, I could tell that no other dog or human had hiked Beech Hill since Jack and I did yesterday—except for one cross-country skier who made it only about a hundred yards up the trail before turning around. The snow was deep, the sun was out, and our snowshoe had track held up pretty well.
A beautiful blue-and-white day. Blue sky, white cloud, bluebirds.
