Awoke to the sound of rain out the window at the head of my bed. Sweet rain. We could use some.
Off and on rain all morning, but then it let up—still cloudy—but I was in the zone, type-development-wise, and didn’t look up until nearly 5 p.m., A last little line of showers had moved through, so good timing.
A few cars, a few people, a couple dogs. Got talking to a nice couple at the summit. Jack liked ’em, too.
Fifteen bird species, including a vocal raven.
And a good dose of sweet, sweet rain.
