Headed out on an early hike with Jack today on account of the big green swath of rain I saw on the weather radar. Not many birds up there in the windy overcast—at least not many I saw or heard. Because surely there were many more lurking in the tangles.
Quick hike, up and back in less than 30 minutes. Then came the welcome rain.
