This might’ve been my favorite day this summer, weather-wise. A warm sun, but cool air. Lush, fragrant. Plenty of birds at Beech Hill.
Saw at least one more yellowrump, meaning they’ve begun moving around. Spotted a young Chestnut-sided Warbler hunting for itself. Plenty of waxwings still. And twice saw hummingbirds flying swiftly over the barrens.
