A red-tail’s domain

Sunday, March 1st, 2015
Distrant red-tail, from Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 01 March 2015.

Distrant red-tail.

Took an early hike with Jack—first ones up the hill. The coolest thing I saw today (although I listed several birds) was one lone red-tail in a pine-top, scanning his domain.

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
