The sun is higher

American Robins, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 28 February 2015.

American Robins.

Lovely day—sunny, cool, breezy. Saw a Sharp-shinned Hawk zipping around above Rockport Village, where, coincidentally, a flock of Rock Doves hang out. Had a lovely Beech Hill hike with Jack.

The sun is higher, the days are longer, the icicles come crashing down. I sense a hint of spring in the air.
