Interesting things

Friday, April 13th, 2012
American crow, Glen Cove, Rockport, Maine, 13 April 2012.

American crow.

Today the sun shone and the wind blew. Out cycling, I fought the wind some. (Totally worth it.) In afternoon I hiked the hill in the wind with Jack. And on this blue-and-yellow early spring day, I saw some interesting things.

Like a preening crow. A quacking duck. A young couple kissing. A distant bluebird whose voice sounded very near—thanks to the persistent spring wind.

I even got photos of some of these interesting things. Here are a few.
