Merry Starling

Friday, November 23rd, 2018
European Starling, Rockport, Maine, 23 November 2018.

European Starling.

The hill was cold and blowy again this morning—although a little less cold and quite a bit less blowy than yesterday. Birds were about, but none would pose for photos. But on a trip to Rockport Village, I got a chance at a portrait of a European Starling. It was singing merrily (if a bit raucously) from a juniper twig.
