Long day, most of it spent indoors. Did get out late, hiked Beech Hill with dog. Chilly and sunny. Relatively uneventful, but—as always—satisfying.
Tonight, a little while ago, I heard the footfalls of deer in the leaves up the back hill. At least I assume they were deer. Heard a faint squeak coming from one of the critters, whatever they were, and right away another that had moved out ahead abruptly turned back toward the sound.
Cold out. Orion chases Jupiter and is followed by bright Sirius.
