A sunnier, warmer, calmer morning than yesterday’s. Again, we were the first up the wooded trails. Not a whole lot of species on today’s list—and nobody was overly willing to pose for photos—but not a bad day of birding.
Considering the light breeze and low temps and heavy snow cover, several species were out and about. The showshoe hike was kinda exhausting, though, to tell you the truth—primarily because I wanted to make things easy on Captain Jack.
Wonder what tomorrow will bring?
