Snowstorm in the forecast, and sure enough it snowed most of the night and was coming down pretty good when I took a little time to shovel the driveway. Oddly, though—and contrary to the forecast—by the time we got to the hill, we had light rain.
Hiked all trails, had few birds, saw no other humans or dogs, had trouble with one of my snowshoes. In fact, we both got a tone of exercise slogging through it all. Was lucky to get a crappy distant photo of a flicker.
Still snowing tonight, so who knows what tomorrow will bring—but I believe there might be a little sun.
