The sun came out this morning, revealing a few more inches of snow. About 20° (F) to start, with a wondrous clouds above. Animal tracks in the snow, and a few birds about. Slight breeze.
Fixed my snowshoes last night, and they worked fine today—but the crusty snow wasn’t great for Jack, so I hiked first to flatten things for him.
Saw no one—no dog nor human. Sometimes days like that are fine for Jack and me.
