Snowy day scrub -jay, East Millcreek, Salt Lake City, Utah, 28 November 2019.
Snowy day scrub -jay.

I’m thankful for the tilt in our planet, the peculiarity that gave rise to our seasons. I’m thankful for trees. For animals and birds. I’m thankful for the few friends and family that are close to me. Especially for my dog Jack—perhaps the closest “person” to me on a daily basis.

Nature, I am thankful for you.

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
