More thundershowers today, soaking things a bit. Dries fast because the landscape is so thirsty, but a nice change-of-pace. Quite a few birds on today’s hike—including a surprise Warbling Vireo hanging with some chickadees. Speaking of, I got my first photo of one here finally.
But the highlight of the hike was a pair of mule deer I happened to spot down the slope from us. The female even stopped to pose.
